Cos'hanno in comune queste due bellezze hollywoodiane? Stiamo parlando di Blake Lively, star di "Gossip Girl" e Jennifer Lawrence fresca di Oscar per "Il lato positivo", accomunate sì per il loro magnifico aspetto, ma anche per la forma degli occhi, cosìdetta "hooded", un po' incavati diremmo noi. Non ce ne saremmo nemmeno accorte di questo piccolo difettuccio (chiamiamolo così) se non fosse per i make up a loro dedicati che troviamo un po' ovunque sulla rete, mirati a valorizzare questa forma degli occhi.
Quante volte ci siamo arrabbiate quando, seguendo passo passo le istruzioni dei video tutorial, il trucco da noi realizzato non sembra neanche lontanamente quello della make up blogger che ammiriamo tanto! In realtà è tutta questione di forma, gli occhi della blogger non saranno mai i nostri, dobbiamo solo capire come poter davvero valorizzare il nostro sguardo. E, per capire come fare, dobbiamo studiare bene allo specchio la forma dei nostri occhi. Troppo vicini o troppo lontani? Sguardo all'insù o all'ingiù? Come sono le nostre palpebre? E' un tutt'uno, oppure si vede la piega? Sono un po' incavati?
Se abbiamo risposto sì all'ultima domanda allora è proprio al make up di queste due bellissime attrici a cui dobbiamo ispirarci!

We all get angry when we are trying to copy a beauty blogger's make up and it doesn't look like the video or the pictures we were watching at. It's a matter of shape: the blogger's eye shape it is not our eye shape, we have to know what our eyes look like. And to know that we have to study our eyes in front of a mirror. Are they too close? too far? Do they go upturned or downturned? Are they hooded?

Jennifer, o meglio la sua truccatrice, opta per uno smokey eyes saggiamente illuminato nei punti critici: angolo interno dell'occhio e parte centrale sopra l'iride. Le ciglia molto curve aiutano tantissimo e sono anche molto sexy! Non è uno smokey sui toni del nero, pittuosto usa molte nuance di marrone e lascia, non a caso, molto illuminata la zona sotto al sopracciglio. Semplicemente stupendo!
Jennifer, or her make up artist, choose a smokey eyes, enlightened in critical points: inner angle, and middle lid part. Very curvy lashes help a lot and they are really sexy too! It's not a black smokey, but a brown shades smokey. The part under the eyebrows is nude and highlightend. Simply hot!
Blake Lively
Blake sfrutta tantissimo le ciglia, curvate e allungate, rispetto alla collega Jennifer, per aprire lo sguardo altrimenti incavato dalla palpebra. Usa la matita bianca o burro sulla rima inferiore mentre sulla palpebra sfuma un ombretto (qui scuro, ma può essere anche colorato). Anche qui l'angolo interno dell'occhio è molto illuminato così anche il resto della palpebra. Ottimo risultato anche per un trucco da giorno!
Blake uses very long and curvy lashes, compared to Jennifer, to open the eyes. She uses white eye pencil to line bottom lashes, from mid to outer lid (close to lash line) she sweep an eyeshadow (here is dark, but could be other colours). Highlight the inner angle and the rest of the lid is nude. Excellent for daylight make up!

Spero che sia lei! Volevo mettervi un esempio di come mettere l'eyeliner con gli occhi incavati e questa foto è perfetta, ma purtroppo non sono riuscita a risalire all'attrice! Nel caso in cui la piega arrivi fino alla fine dell'occhio, bisogna stendere l'eyeliner con molta precisione e controllare il risultato sia con l'occhio chiuso che aperto. Questo cat's eye è davvero magnifico, la riga copre la palpebra ma solo fin sopra l'iride, poi la linea è sottilissima, quasi invisibile. La rima inferiore e l'angolo interno sono illuminati dall'ombretto bianco, il resto della palpebra è naturale. Elegantissimo!
I hope this is her! I wanted to make an example of how to put eyeliner on hooded eyes and this picture shows exactly how to do it. You have to be as much precise as you can to line the eye and check the result with eye closed and open. This cat's eye make up is really gorgeous, the line covers just from outer to mid line lash, then just fades away. The bottom lash line and the inner angle are highlightend by white eye pencil and eyeshadow. The rest of the lid is natural. Very glamouros!
